Most Rev. Mother Elisa Martinez the foundress of our Congregation Daughters of St. Mary of Leuca Convent. She loved so much small children and fascinated to start schools by inspiring the Bible verse "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these".
We started St. Mary of Leuca Matric. Higher Secondary School in Bastian Nagar in the presence of our beloved Mother Noemi Carbone. Mr & Mrs. Enzo Vilma Bazolli the benefactor generously donated to construct school building with the influence of Mother Noemi Carbone.
